About Us

Supporting people to live with choice, dignity, and belonging.

Explore Freedom Services Inc. provides community-based support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to build independence while living in their own homes, apartments, and neighborhoods.

Community-based support in a welcoming neighborhood setting

Support happens where life happens: at home, in the community, and in everyday routines.

Who We Are

A community support partner, not a residential facility.

Our work is centered on helping people strengthen daily living skills, make informed choices, participate in community life, and move toward personal goals at a pace that respects the individual.

We are not a care facility, nursing home, group home, or residential institution. Services are provided in the places where people already live, belong, and build their lives.

Choice Support built around each person’s preferences.

Community Services delivered in real-life settings.

Growth Skills practiced through everyday routines.

Our Future

Vision

Our vision is for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to have meaningful choices, trusted support, and opportunities to live with dignity in the homes and communities they choose.

We imagine communities where people are known for their strengths, included in everyday life, and supported to build independence at their own pace.

Our Purpose

Mission

Explore Freedom Services, Inc. (EFS) believes that individuals are entitled to reside in their own homes and in their preferred communities, participate in all life decisions, become active participants in their community, and are given every opportunity to achieve their greatest potential.

How We Support

Person-centered support for everyday life.

Support is most meaningful when it fits naturally into a person’s day. We help people practice skills, build confidence, and participate in routines that matter to them.

  • Listening first and honoring each person’s preferences, culture, and communication style.
  • Supporting daily living skills such as routines, appointments, household tasks, budgeting, and community access.
  • Encouraging confidence, self-advocacy, and decision-making while keeping dignity and safety at the center.

Values that shape the work

These values guide how we show up for individuals, families, and community partners.

Dignity

People deserve support that honors their voice, privacy, lived experience, and right to be treated with respect.

Choice

Support should expand options and help each person make decisions about home, routines, relationships, and goals.

Belonging

Community life is built through real relationships, familiar places, local routines, and meaningful participation.

Let’s talk about what support could look like.
