Authentic community integration and quality individualized supports are the key differences between the services offered through EFS, Inc. and those offered within a typical group home or a congregate residential service model. The residents we serve, with assistance from their Circle of Support, should be empowered to choose where, how, and with whom they want to live. This freedom of choice allows each resident to become an integrated part of their community and approximate the most typical life possible according to each person’s individualized standards. That might mean going to the movie you want to see instead of having to choose as a part of group; going to bed when you want to; having what you want to eat for meals and having your favorite condiments at your disposal; having privacy in your home or having visitors when you want to see them.
EFS Supports and Services related to SLS are driven by the needs of the clients and are developed to address personalized skill acquisition and ongoing support where necessary. Such supports can include, but are not limited to:

- Optional Housemates to share Rent, and for Companionship & Safety
- Financial Literacy and Money Management; Help with Paying Bills
- Navigating the Complex Service System; Applications for Government and Medical Services
- Establishing Routines of Personal Habits for Healthy Living
- Healthcare Management; Assistance at Doctors Appointments, the Pharmacy and with Medications
- Grocery Shopping and Meal Preparation
- Housekeeping, Cleaning & Laundry
- Transportation
- Personal Hygiene
- Mail Management & Response
- Community Involvement & Handling Social Situations
- 24-Hour Emergency Response
